Re: Eubank jnr vs GGG
I know someone who worked with Kell's nutritionist at Sheffield Hallam uni and he is absolutely convinced he's going to be fine going up the weights. He's a big welter he struggles to make weight. He's only a inch smaller than GGG and his reach is very similar.

I give him more than a punchers chance agains GGG, he's not a huge middle weight, I doubt they will look much different getting into the ring on the night.

Queerie...

Im so sorry my match report from seattle left you disapointed, Im suprised given where you live and your peasant livestyle id thought youd be easily pleased.

Youre always welcome my house to watch it on TV, I live in Las Vegas might be a trot from Bermonsey.

Re: Eubank jnr vs GGG
He's way too small to move up to anything near light heavy. That's not going to happen. Fair play to Brook but I think he'll get pasted. I don't think Ward would in any way avoid GGG, that's not how a top fighter like him would be thinking, but I can't see them agreeing a weight, Ward is naturally a much bigger bloke.

Re: Eubank jnr vs GGG
I try to refrain from talking boxing on here but...

GGG quite literally has zero options. He can move up to super middle and fight who? NO ONE is either willing to fight him or is able to fight him (ie with Haymon or Showtime). He could move up to light heavy and fight who? Kovalev and Ward have fights lined up and then are contractually obliged to fight each other later this year. So as of September who is he supposed to fight?

Each year he has one European fight. Aside from last year, Murray, he's fought Adama and Ishida. So we basically had the choice of him not fighting at all like most other fighters these days or fight a "top 15 contender" who most have never heard of and who is probably useless or 38 or he can fight Brook.

He'll win within 7 rounds. I'm not saying this is a real 50/50 fight but the reality is it was probably this or something far, far worse. I dread to think who he'll be left with later in the year (Andy Lee probably being his best hope).

Personally I'm just pleased that I'll get to see GGG in the flesh in London.

And fair play to Brook. It's a no lose situation for him but still massive bollocks for taking the fight.

Re: Eubank jnr vs GGG
Eddie Hearn has come out saying it was impossible to get Eubanks to agree terms. They did not sign on the deadline set by GGG.

Brook has accepted the terms that the Eubanks declined.

Shame as I think Eubank Jr is a great boxer but I am becoming less of a fan by the day.

He must be very embarrassed especially now his own promoter has come out giving him some stick.

Disappointing.

There's no PPV on Sky Go, so I'll have to rely on one of your cutting edge, fact based, incisive reviews of the action.

Then maybe after you've done the above and we've all learned how much shit you shovelled down your gaping neck, you can tell us who won.

Queerie...

I hope you get to see it on sky go

Re: Eubank jnr vs GGG
I've never understood the term nothing to lose regarding boxing, Buster. He could get seriously hurt and not box again.

But fair play to him, none of the rated Yanks have got the bollocks to fight Brook so he has stepped up.

Re: Eubank jnr vs GGG
No lose situation for Brook even if he takes a proper pasting.

Re: Eubank jnr vs GGG
Just goes to prove EVERYONE at Welterweight is ducking Brook, considering he has had to take this.

imo, Brook is the best British boxer out there, but this is too big of a weight step, when you consider who he's fighting.

Who fucking love him to pull it off, though.

Nothing certain in the art of boxing
But Kell doesn't stand an earthly.

I like brook but i just don't see him having the power to trouble golovkin. i hope im wrong

Re: Eubank jnr vs GGG
It's the biggest test for both boxers, Brook is better than anybody GGG has fought before but I think he has zero chance of winning but exciting fight nonetheless.

Son of Anarchy 9:49 Fri Jul 8
Re: Eubank jnr vs GGG
Eubank and his Dad fucked around and got sold out from under. Extra weight might suit Brook but like anyone elase whis tried he'll have to stsy away from GGG's jab.

I think it's a good fight for Jr. raises his profile and he'll gain loads of experience from it

Buster 8:53 Fri Jul 8
Re: Eubank jnr vs GGG
So GGG is now taking on Kell Brook, who's stepping up two weights, instead of taking on Eubank who's understandably well pissed off about it.

This will be massively one sided.

Eerie Descent 3:36 Fri May 27
Re: Eubank jnr vs GGG
That's why I said 'could have'

Ok, he can't move up, no one will fight him anyway, and he already rules a great division with loads of amazing fighters. He is the best, most feared, most swerved boxer in history.
